I never imagined this would happen to me...winning an art contest at and hitting over 5,000 page views.

Thank you and for allowing us artists to prance around on the catwalk without falling. You helped us to have our artwork hosted for the October 19th Twilight Contest. Everyone who participated are winners. And I'm so happy for 1st & 2nd winners, along with the honorable mentions!

I'm shocked to receive 3rd place...never won any art awards so this kid is really happy.

I've been a member here for FOUR years...wait...wait...I haven't accessed until April 30, 2009 this year. How in the world did that happen? My son signed me up spelling my username wrong (it's catluckey). So I decided not to access deviant art. Anyway, my excuse was the artists here seemed soooo professional until I scared my intimidated self away.

Then along came Twilight and the need to view actual paintings, sketches or drawings rendered by artists. I was finally directed here and bathed in all the talent, encouragement, and amazing people. You all have won my heart and I'm relieved, happy, and revved up to continue submitting art and to be a part of this community.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
